I saw Avatar a couple nights ago and it was pretty darn awesome. The special effects are the first ones since Star Trek that haven't disappointed me. The plot was also pretty good. Now I really want to see it in 3D...

Sadly, I broke my glasses before the movie. However, I was able to see the movie relatively well, and I don't think I lost too much without them.

In other news, I was finally able to get around to uploading something. Yay!

I just got the book Michael Crichton was writing when he died from my local independent bookstore...so far, the story seems pretty good, and I'm glad to have one last taste of his writing!

In other news, I got Google wave a few days ago. It's every bit as awesome as the website [link] purports it to be! Unfortunately for most of you, it's invitation-only for now. Sorry!

I won NaNoWriMo yesterday! I'm not done with my novel, but I'm trying to finish it up as soon as possible. If everyone really wants to see it I could post an excerpt, but I haven't edited it yet. In fact, I haven't even read the whole thing through yet!

Also, it seems skins are available for a little while longer. This one seems nice, so I'll stick with it.

I got two of the things I wanted: Redvines, and a new Tripod. Both of which are amazing. It was also sunny most of the day, I broke a six minute mile, and went to Thai food (my favorite). I'm happy now.

And better get me that chocolate...
